The Institute has been providing indoor
facilities through 100 bedded hospital, among which 10 are earmarked for surgical
and 10 for maternity. Hospital services with all resources are fully extended to
the suffering humanity.
As this is
an Academic Institute, Patients suffering from different ailments are admitted
for curative purpose as well as for clinical training to the under - graduate
and post - graduate students.
The
out - patient and in - patient departments of the Institute provide free medical
care to the patients suffering from different ailments. Besides, other
specialized clinics, departments of Materia Medica, Organon, Repertory, Surgery,
Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Paediatrics, Dentistry,
Dermatology, Arsenic toxicity are also in service. They are enriched with all
sorts of investigations through clinical pathology, radiology, ultrasonography,
ECG and Biochemistry. All essential investigations are available at free of cost
and as a part of the health care delivery system.
The Institute possesses an operation theatre
where students are shown the practice of surgery. New apparatus / instruments
such as a pulse oxymeter, Diathermy, portable ECG & X - ray, etc. have been
procured in the operation theatre. Orthopaedic surgery has also been started.
The Institute provides antenatal and
post - natal care to the mothers delivered in the Labour theatre of the
Institute. Women & children from remote areas are receiving the benefit of
facilities extended by the Institute.

Every year, the Institute sends a medical
team to Gangasagar Mela in South 24 Parganas (West Bengal) district to provide
Homoeopathic treatment on the spot to ailing pilgrims from all over the country.
