N O T I C E

This notice in connection with admission to BHMS Course (Session 2010-11) contains two parts superscribed Part- ‘A’ & Part – ‘B’. Part A includes a list- I containing total of 24 (Twenty four) names of candidates and Part – B includes a list – II containing total of 32 (Thirty two) names of candidates.

Part - A

The following candidates are instructed to appear in person for 2nd counselling in connection with the admission to BHMS Course (Session 2010-11) on 2^nd August, 2010 (Monday) from 10 am at NIH, Kolkata at above address. Separate lists have been published for General, OBC, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories respectively. 08 (Eight) numbers of candidates from General category, 09 (Nine) numbers of candidates from OBC category, 06 (Six) numbers of candidates from SC category & 01(One) number of candidates from Scheduled Tribe category will be admitted in the BHMS Degree course subject to fulfillment of all conditions as laid down in the prospectus. Verification of handwriting/signature/photograph of the candidate to be admitted with the signature/ handwriting/photograph of the candidate, who appeared in the admission test held on 6^th June, 2010 shall be carried out. Strict legal action will be initiated against fraudulent candidates.

In case of candidates failing to appear for the counselling on the date and time as given above, their chance will be allotted to next candidate. The eligible candidates will be admitted on the same day on payment of required fees as indicated in the prospectus. But they may need to come again on Tuesday 3rd August, 2010 for completion of admission formalities. All candidates are required to come along with their guardians. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the counselling.

The candidates will have to produce the following at the time of admission:

1. All certificates in original including Pass Certificate, Admit card & Mark Sheet of 10^th & 12^th Standard/ Hall ticket (along with two Xerox copies).

2. Migration certificate in original in case of migrated candidates (along with two Xerox copies).

3. Medical certificate from any Government hospital stating that the candidate is not blind (including colour blind) deaf and / or dumb.

4. Bond (as mentioned in the prospectus) of Rs. 30,000/-/ Non Judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/-.

5. Six coloured photographs (size 4.5 x 3.5 cm.), duly signed by the candidate.

6. The fees Rs. 41,250/- in the form of crossed demand draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director, National Institute of Homoeopathy, payable at Kolkata.

7. Caste/OBC Certificate (if applicable).

8. Caste/OBC validity Certificate (if applicable).

9. Transfer Certificate from the head of Institute last attended.

10. Conduct/Character Certificate from the head of Institute last attended.

Part - B

The following candidates are instructed to appear in person for verification of their credentials in connection with the admission to BHMS Course (Session 2010-11) on 2^nd August, 2010 (Monday) from 12 Noon at NIH, Kolkata at above address.

The admission of any of the candidates in list- II is not guaranteed. The candidates are to appear so that a waiting list can be created from which candidates can be offered admission against future vacancies arising within the prescribed time limit for admission to the course.

Separate lists have been published for General, OBC, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories respectively. 12(Twelve) numbers of candidates from General category, 11(Eleven) numbers of candidates from OBC category, & 09 (Nine) numbers of candidates from SC category is notified. [There is no remaining ST candidates.]

Their admission, if offered at any stage, in the BHMS Degree Course (Session 2010-11) is subject to fulfillment of all conditions as laid down in the prospectus.
